In some games I'm missing the bottom part of the screen, i.e. in Wardner where inventory isn't visible (see attached image). It's not an overscan problem, so adjusting things in the tv's service menu doesn't help for this particular issue. It's like the bottom part of the image isn't being rendered, but the super resolution seems to be correct. I'm running latest GM, Win 7 with a 5450 gfx card, a UMSA, and a Sony Trinitron TV. Any input appreciated.

If this a Sony TV then find option V slope and try changed it.
Additionally You could try methods:

This games in particluar is 240p @54Hz. This means we get additional lines in vertical porches (compared with a 240p @60). Probably GM distributes the lines to the back porch. You should force GM to distribute those lines or a part of those lines to the front porch. This will bring the picture up.

Your right about the extra lines causing the problem. However, GM distributes the lines evenly between both porches. It's the TV that screws centering when trying to (wrongly) fit the signal into one of the standards (PAL/NTSC). This could probably be compensated through the v-shift slider in GM's UI.

I didn't meant GM is at fault, sorry if it looked that way. Of course it's the TV that screws things up, I did not mention it because I had the feeling it's a known fact.
With only TV sets as monitors for GM, I tinkered a lot and concluded it's very difficult and confusing trying to predict/control their behavior.
That's why I ended up with MANY narrow crt_ranges. Large scope ranges are not effective for the TVs I own.

Thanks, guys.
Unfortunately there's no v-slope in my tv's service menu.
Calamity's suggestion mostly works - when using the V-shift slider, I can bring back the inventory at the bottom of the screen at the expense of some of the scoreboard at the top of the screen. But I can live with that.
Would using different crt profiles be of any use or should I just be happy that I got most of the way?

I think we should be able to get the full image. Please post a log.
