I just bought this panel for use in mypacman cabinet http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=3276238738&category=13718&sspagename=STRK%3AMEBWN%3AIT&rd=1
I want to give it a Pacman VS Ms Pacman theme,  since I love the Pacman VS Ms Pacman misfit rom

Think 2 buttons will be enough for the majority of 2 player vert games?

Any ideas on artwork?

You should go here and download the Pac Man & Mrs Pac Man Arcade marquee..   It'll give you a good start for an marquee and panel.

I love the backround alot!
Any way to get that without the word arcade?  Anyone know who made it?
Might be cool to have that, and then a pic of each character on either side, either their sideart image, or maybe an actual in game char withing the maze

You can remove the Arcade Logo with illustrator.

Do you have Illustrator?  If not, I can remove the Arcade for you.

Attached is a quick and VERY dirty mock up of what I think Id like the cp to look like

I think Id go with

as the backround image, with the attached image in the center of the panel
If you look at the link to the auction I bought the panel at, there is a good ammount of space in the center
I will not be needing a marquee, as the cab itself will look pretty much like a pac, but will have swappable panels

Im trying to use illustrator, but it is all greek to me :)
Anyway, what do you all think?

I think that it is a great concept, but that image needs some more work.   The 3 different images look very disjointed.  You need to figure out how to make them flow together, which I think would create a more cohesive, better looking image.  Illustrator is a tough program to use.  Google up some tutorials or try fixing the image up in photoshop or paint shop pro instead.

About the # of buttons, I think 2 should be just fine.

I know, its very rough
I was going to have this professionally printed and assued vector images were the way to go, will a simple photoshop file print well?

You can get the Pac & Ms. Pac images already vector at the vector library.

Yeah, but the Ms. Pac Man logo is pretty rough, as well as some of Ms. Pac Man character art.

Yea, plus Ill need to do some editing and I'm a bit lost with Illustrator
I think I have a pretty good idea of what I want, just not sure how to get there :)

PACMAN VS. MS. PACMAN IN COURT!!!

That's right they're finally gettin divorced and now they're fighting in court for custody over Baby Pac. Question is... who will WIN ???. Thanx.
