Title: Laptop LCD?

I found a laptop with a working screen, but since the laptop has died.  Does anyone know of any literature on how to drive this screen without the laptop?  I disassembled the laptop and removed the screen and pitched the rest.  I would like to use it in a project if it

It doesn't look like it's going to be neither financially practical nor simple for me to try this.  All well, it was just a thought.  Thanks for the help nighthawk2099.

Most Laptop LCDs are properitery, and are not easily interfaceable with desktops.  First of all, the interface in most cases is digital, not analog, as well as most Laptop LCDs are missing the converter that is needed from going from VGA to LCD.

However, some laptop LCDs may use a DVI interface, but again to fit into small space, the wiring will be quite strange, and the pinouts may not match at all.
