Title: How to Wire a Power Strip Inside of an Arcade Cabinet?
Post by: fsmith2003 on March 09, 2023, 08:14:55 pm
I have recently added an audio amp to my Dynamo jamma cab which has a Peter Chuou power supply (usp-11-150x) installed. Right now I have the power cable for the amp running out of the back of the arcade alongside the arcades power cable. SO I am plugging those both into a power strip which I then plug into the wall.

I would like to wire the amp into the power circuit of the existing jamma arcade so that I only have one cable coming out of the arcade that would need plugged in. I believe this could be done by adding an internal power strip inside the cab. I am not quite sure how this can be done though. Does anyone have any suggestions or pointers?

Check out the IEC power inlet section of the wiring entry in the wiki.

What kind of amp is it?

If it is a 12v amp you have better options.

Yes it is just a 12v amp.  This one from Amazon is what I have.
