Title: picture not aligned correctly on crt monitor
Post by: giannisbizkit on September 27, 2020, 12:37:46 pm
Hello there.
New here, a couple of days got myself an arcade cabinet with intervideo CRT monitor and pandora games x plus on it.
i'm facing an issue with the alignment of the left down corner of the monitor. it looks like you  rotated it and it is not aligned correctly. if i change the vertical and horizontal options in the back of the arcade trying to fill the gap in the corner,  i loose picture on the other corner of the monitor.
is there a way to fix this rotation?
i will post a link pictures to help you with the issue.
thank you!

Unless there is an easy adjustment in the monitor's service manual, it would mean rotating the entire crt yoke which is a massive pain in the butt :dunno

The yoke could have just got slightly moved out of alignment when the cab was last moved - or the bolts holding it on the crt neck may have been a bit loose.

Happened to me on my Outrun.  I managed to rotate the yoke *very* slightly to re-align it.  It literally only needs to move a hair.  Be careful - there are potentially lethal high voltages back there.  Tweak it when the power is off, and switch it back on to check again.
