As the tittle says, i got 2 20 inch wei yah chassis, wondering if i can test them on my 19 electrohome g07 without damaging the tube, thanks for any advice.

if the yoke impedance matches and the neck socket is the same pinout it should be fine
weiya normally have printed on them the yoke info

I have never tried it on a g07, but oddly enough I do have one on my workbench, And as grants says apparently it is correlated to the yoke resistance, I am hopeful it will work, since I do love those chassis but normally use them on 20 in tvs, Reality suggests those TVs are more 19" anyway, and with adjustments to deflection never seen a problem with any abuse to the tube... They (the chassis) do seem to have limited adjustments however, and seem quite not quite right without some fiddling around, But Do not move the yoke, It will not help, and will only mess with the convergence.

Easier to do with an arcade chassis, thanks to the adjustments they normally have. A TV chassis sometimes requires modification to the deflection circuits, which is not always easy. As Grant noted, the yoke readings must match first.

Im a try it tomorrow and post results... but first i need to fix of find what do i need to do in order to fix that chassis that cant center the image, can any of you (masters of the crt's) go to my other thread and help me with that? thanks in advance.

If your Wei Yah has an "H" in the model # then maybe. E.g. 820H
