Title: Creating a MAMEWah list from a MAME32 Favorites.ini?
Post by: angryred on January 20, 2020, 03:54:03 am
After years of running a Windows desktop on my cab, I'm finally playing around with frontends.  I'm running MAME32, v.112 on a 3gHz P4 w/2 gigs of RAM.  I'm trying to set up MAMEWah right now, and it's going well, but now I want to whittle down that massive game list like I did years ago on my MAME32 GUI.  I managed to do it in Attract Mode using my MAME32 Favorites.ini, but Attract Mode gave me other issues I couldn't solve, so I've moved on to MAMEWah; but here I haven't found any way to import my Favorites.ini.

Everything I've read points to ListGen as the program that'll do what I want, but those are ancient links, and I can't find any living download links for ListGen.

I'm sure there's a lot of options I don't know about, as my machine's been working great for years, and I haven't frequented these forums much.  Anybody have any suggestions for porting my Favorites list from MAME32 to MAMEWah?

Thanks in advance for any help!

So... That would be a "no", then.
