Looking to source these from somewhere. I've checked my normal locations and just not seeing much. I have the CPO and Marquee, but no luck on the sideart and lower marquee. Anyone have any suggestions?

Not sure if any of these will help but it's a copy of the Gorf files that were on the HDD of art files so might have something useful - I 7 zipped the gorf folder and uploaded to dropbox - https://www.dropbox.com/s/5dkqqvlcz4cyucd/Gorf.7z?dl=0

I appreciate it JD. I may need to create these from scratch so if anyone has a Gord, I’d they could take a dead on shot that would really help me out.

I think Mike A has a Gorf. Same with Neph. Since they’re your favorite members here, I’m sure if you ask nicely they’ll help you out. :lol

Mike A would do it in a heartbeat. He’s a stand up guy.

Mine unfortunately has no side art at all.

I'm not too proud to accept help. :) Besides, he ripped his off just so he didn't have to deal with me.
Gorf is a tricky one. I've posted about it several times over the last decade and a half. It's a game where a lot of time was put in to make the artwork cool and unique and then they do a super crummy job on the side art. I'm considering making my own. The game play is pretty good, but it's one of the games where the emulation could improve upon the original and reduce the slow downs. The bullets in "Galaxian" are hard to see. All this complaining and it's still a game I pumped a lot of quarters into a guilty pleasure of mine.
I'm working some side art now, but I would welcome a better base image to work with.

There are places that sell the Gorf sideart. Maybe they could custom size and print it for you.

There was someone working on getting a good source back in 2000 - Not sure if he ever followed through with the scanning but this page is still live so might try contacting hom - http://www.rtype.com/arcade/gorf/index.html

Created a lower marquee. Still needs a little cleanup. If it's not good enough, I think it's a good base to work from. It's sized for my use - 17x6. Once I'm done, I'll post my source files so someone else can create their own.

The lower marquee seems to rely on lots of dithering, so the actual creation of it was pretty easy since it isn't as precise.
