Title: I need some opinions (also good for a laugh)

So control panel #3 is the combined flight/driving panel.  So I was trying to come up with an image that could satisfy both for the backsplash panel--while perusing the web I came across the dash from knight rider...<waits for laughter to subside> with a little customization it could do both--what do you guys think.  the art came from this guy's site:  http://www.pp.htv.fi/jterho1/drawings/kitt/

and I have attached it here.

I'm thinking that if i cut out some of the dead giveaway buttons (turbo boost and computer printout)  it could pass--am I dreaming?

and no I won't be perming my hair anytime soon...

I think that's a fantastic idea, and I'm even saying that with a straight face. David Hasselwhatsisname sucks, but the car was ultra cool!

That looks great! That would look great, especially backlit.

I cannot beleive that the guy did that in Word! Word sux, it's always trying to format and screw things up with tabs, spacing, fonts...

And don't be ashamed about Knight Rider, that was a great show.  Do you remember everyone trying to add those LED's to the hoods of their cars?! :D

Good luck with replicating that dash, should look great once done.

ok--first pass--seems flat though--so I could use some help to bring up some 3d elements to it--I'm a photoshop novice--but follow instructions well  ;)

I like it too (really) - I was always a big fan of the Knight Industries Two-Thousand.

Drainpipes and leather jacket a must I would've thought  ;D

background elements added and numbers customized--I'm thinking this is the final unless you guys happen to think of something that should be changed...I now own a M.I.T.T machine (mame industries two-thousand  ;D)

I'm sorry, but I can't allow you to have a control panel that looks that cool!  ;)

Can't wait to see pics of it printed & mounted.
