Title: Mame: Adjusting Dial Sensitivity
Post by: midd on July 22, 2018, 09:31:41 pm
How do you adjust the dial sensitivity in the Analog Controls menu? Mine is currently set to 30. I think I have tried every button on my keyboard, and controllers and the sticks themselves but the number never changes!

Press enter on it then adjust it with arrow keys.

Hitting enter and using the arrow keys isn’t working.  I made the adjustments for my spinner already using that video.

I’ve plugged in my wheel. And I just finished mapping it in the ctrlr file.

But I’m just stuck here:

Are the settings saved anywhere? I tried replacing the PP roms and found a cfg file in the nv-ram folder.  Anywhere else? I'm using Mame .190

So are the settings not saving after you change them?
Or are you not able to change them at all?
If the latter whats changed since you set them to start with?

I got it.  I played around with ctrlr.cfg file.  Still don't know what I did but I was able to use my Xbox 360 stick to lower the sensitivity.  Strange but at least  I can pull my hair out over something else! LOL
