Hello guys! My name is Joe and after nearly 3 years of planning, designing and building, my build is ready to share with everyone.

First off, I would like to say a special thank you to everyone here at the BYOAC forums.  Although this is my first post, I have been lurking here for years gathering ideas and checking out everyone's custom cabinets.  Whenever I had a question about something I knew I could find the answer here.  So when I say I couldn't have done it with out you guys, its the truth!  So thank you very much!

OTHER INFORMATION

Not until after I had finished the cabinet and realized how much fun my friends and I were having, did I decide to build a website and start streaming on Twitch.  We would be honored if you would join us for one of our live streams sometime.  We play a variety of games including NBA Jam, Golden Tee, Open Ice and many others.  We also play other games from classic systems from time to time. I have posted several videos from our test run live streams on on YouTube Channel.

The thing is cool... but wow. I can't get over it. He didn't angle the joysticks... so he did plan this thing out pretty well. I too am not to keen on the turtle eyeballs. lol

Oh, I’m not a fan of it at all, but if it’s what he wanted, he at least did a nice job putting it together. I can’t fault the craftsmanship.

Maybe the two extra screens are for making games look 4:3 when he’s stretching the image to 16:9..?

Cant fault the build, Well except the turtle eyes (WHY?)  Hope the streaming stuff works out, a friend of mine has started doing similar with modern games :)

I started with just the one screen but after we decided to start streaming I added a second so I could keep an eye on the livestream and viewer comments. After adding the second it didn't really look right so the third screen was added so we could watch the ball game, some wrestling or a movie.

It's worth a shot. If no one cares or watches no big deal. We still have a great time! I make all the shirts and decals myself so it doesn't cost me too much and I enjoy doing it.

Yeah I never cared for the way the turtles looked on the original cabinet. Thought they looked menacing or something lol. I took a few liberties with the artwork in a couple spots but I think it looks ok. You guys really don't like it?

Not angling the joysticks was something I learned here on the forum. This was my first ever build so the information available here was invaluable. Thanks again!

I'm a car audio guy. I like it loud and low. I had the extra speakers so I figured why not. The subwoofers do add a nice rumble effect to many of the games especially fighters. You can feel when you take a hit. I also use the arcade for music at times.

I guess the subwoofer placement is perfect for porn. The bass is aimed straight at your junk.

You are my new best friend. My staple bourbon is Blanton's. Freakin' John Wick ruined it for awhile. I had to buy it by the case when I could find it.

Also if your twitching, wouldn't you want to show the game or is the idea just to show yourself playing?  Might be me, but watching TV while playing would seem kinda distracting.  I'd of just went with like a 40" screen, and left the twitching and the movie watching for another day.

Lol! Blantons is good stuff. Recently opened a bottle of Michaels 10 Year and it's excellent!

Thanks man. I'm cool with the constructive criticism but there's always gonna be some people that want to bring you down for one reason or another. I've learned to just ignore those people. Not worth my time. I'd rather be working on my next build. :cheers: to you as well!
