Title: AIMTRAK lightgun in MAME working with ALIEN 3 but not TERMINATOR 2

Im new to all this. so just to say hi to everyone.

I'm having a few issues with AIMTRAK for the game Terminator 2 on MAME. Everything works fine. The crosshair moves perfectly (aimtrak crosshair). the shots can be heard firing when pulling the trigger...but here's the issue....there's no shots happening on screen. I realise that the crosshair being used by AIMTRAK is not the the normal ingame crosshair you get. but when i switch off the crosshair for this game..it makes no difference...Its strange because ALIEN 3, Operation Wolf used a positional mount and works perfectly...but T2 doesn't..Any help is appreciated. Also im not using the latest mame. I'm using 85. that was going to be my next check.

Did you calibrate the gun in the games menu?
