Title: LEDBlinky, Ultimarc Trackball and RGB LED issue
Post by: coastal on February 24, 2017, 08:03:22 pm
I think I have a simple question.  I just have one RGB LED to light on my cabinet and its on my trackball.  Works great from the LEDBlinkyconfig when in Hyperspin, but when I launch a MAME game, it goes black.  I am not looking for something fancy, just to light the trackball to look cool when any game launches.  Where is the best place to do this?  I know I can run a command-line 'ledblinky 14 1,xx' to just light that port, but where do I put this so it starts when any game launches?  I am also using RocketLauncher.  I appreciate any direction that can be given.

In blinkys config you can set it to light a default colour for any emulator or game.
I presume its not lighting as its not normally in use so just put a default setting in the mame part.

Sounds like exactly what I am looking for, but I am not seeing that option anywhere.  Is this something I need to get out of the gui for and edit a config file manually?  Thanks for your response!

If you go into blinky controls editor and look under mame (or any other emu) there will be a <default> heading under roms.
Go into that and add your trackball and save.

It should light up that colour as default then on any game in that emu unless overridden by another roms settings.
