Title: RGBcommander causes sticky player 1 start key
Post by: HowardAbraham on September 21, 2016, 11:44:55 pm
My environment:
Raspberry Pi 3
Ultimarc Ultimate I/O
RetroPie 4.0.2

When I install RGBcommander .3 it seems to alter the behavior of my player one start (1) key.  If I press it one time it will autorepeat hundreds of times, then stop.  This effectively disables my shift-key functions, such as escape.  When I uninstall RGBcommander the problem stops.

You can see me demonstrate this in the video found here:

Seems like a hardware problem for me.

Have you checked the wiring, tried disconnecting some wires?

His firmware is 1.32 - we've been mailing and I've been putting some time in it and this is my conclusion

Hi,

mine is 1.32 also. I can not reproduce your issue no matter what I try. The animation is running and I tried P1Start (and other pins) mapped to several things. Removal, install, whatever you like... brutally disconnect, reattach, with real keyboard and mouse, without...
The .3 functions as designed. This is conclusive for me and as such I reason that the software is not at fault.
I do hope you find a solution for your issue.

All the best.

now back to coding .4  ;D

Very much looking forward to the .4 version. Thank you for your efforts!
