Per the sticky, check Retail Vendors. ;D
Wondering where your favorite artist's thread went?
Look here (http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php/board,56.0.html) in the Retail Vendors forum.

Who's best to contact then...
Good question.
Before you start asking around, you might want to figure out at least a rough outline of what you are looking for so they can figure out whether or not to take on your project.
Control panel overlay? Marquee? Full/partial sideart?
Simple geometric shapes+text? Collage? Logos? Original cartoon art? Original photo-realistic art?
Examples of the style(s)/influences you want to capture?
-- "The control panel should be styled like this Houston Mission Control panel. [NASA.jpg]"
-- "Mayan temple version of Tutankham for the CP/marquee with jungle vines overgrowing the edges of the control panel like Ikari Warriors."

Thanks for the advice Scott..I'm hoping to pay tribute to all the games consoles through the ages so thinking of somehow incorporating all the logos from all the consoles and games machines that have been about since the 70's

Let me run that through the Devil's Advocate TranslatorTM. >:D
What you say: "I want all of them."
What they hear: "I have no idea what I really want at this time."
What SPECIFIC consoles+games/game machines/emulators will your build include?
Have you compiled a "can't live without it" game list. (Hint: If the word "all" is your "list", you're doing it wrong.)
What controls do you need for those games? Shoulder buttons? Analog thumbsticks?
Check out the design process outlined in the "2.1 What type of build meets my needs?" entry in the FAQ. ;D

"all" is not really a long list..
Sega
Sony
Philips
Colecovision
Atari
Commodore
Neo Geo
RCA studio
Nintendo
Amstrad
Famicom
Oric
Sinclair
Acorn
PC engine
Microvision
Mattel
Apple
Not many left out there....

This is your first problem right here.
(PL1 gave you some good advice above)

Yeah I do agree..

It's longer than you think. ;D
Have you looked at MESS lately? :o
Here are just a few clarifications to your list off the top of my head.
Sony
PS1, PS2, PS3, PS4
Atari
2600, 5200, 7800, 800
Commodore
PET, VIC-20, c64
Nintendo
NES, SNES, N64, GB, GBA, Wii . . .
Apple
2, 2e, 2c, 2gs, Lisa, Mac . . .
Not many left out there....
Vectrex, TRS-80, TRS-80 Color Computer, Amiga . . .
Some of these systems are worth the effort, others aren't.
Some of these systems aren't even emulatable yet.
Some have analog controls or shoulder buttons.
So far, no list of which "gotta have it" games would work well with these systems and controls.
I'm not asking these questions to annoy you.
I'm asking to help you define details and narrow your focus so you end up with a build that does what it does well and hopefully lends itself to a cohesive theme for the artwork. ;D

I was listing manufacturers not the different console models..but yes I'm not disagreeing...

+1
This statement can save a lot of unnecessary headaches. Especially for new builders.
