Title: Joystick driver shennadigans!

 :banghead:

Absolutely dead stuck with this problem, hoping some kind soul can help me.

Want to play some games which need a Windows Joystick, and want to control that joystick from my IPAC (two JPACs actually) board inside my cabinet.

The catch?   I have a 4 player cabinet so the IPAC functionality to emulate joysticks wont work (only does 1 per board).

Fine!   So I disable the IPAC joystick (with the new firmware), and run vJoy to create joysticks, which I can then control with keystrokes.

All of this SHOULD work, but I have a weird issue where despite IPAC not creating any joysticks, when I add a vJoy one, it has the JPAC name.... and (perhaps understandably) doesn't work.

Check out the two pics attached.   [they show the bizarre behavior].   Do you guys know anything I can try?   Or even an alternate approach?   This is driving me mad!

    :timebomb:

p.s:
Thought vJoy might be the problem so tried "Headsoft" vJoy (bizarrely unrelated), and had the same issue.
