Title: my cab artwork. Comments and Criticism please.

Firstly I am not the original artist of the pacman guy or ghosts Travis Pitts is the original artist.
I am currently seeking permission to use the art on my cab.
I'm the furthest thing from an artist but I have a pretty good idea of what I want to do and am considering hiring someone to do the art for me if I cant get it correct.
This has taken me several hours over the course of a few days to make with sketchup and gimp.

Comments, criticism, suggestions, name calling, and advice are encouraged.

Not sure what to do with the top. Thinking I'm going to use the name from the original artwork "The Madness of Mission Six" as the cab name and maybe could put that text in the upper area.
Something like
 
The Madness of
Mission Six

but making the text the colored (the ghost's colors maybe) and doing it in a font like from the movie "Mars Attacks".

nice work, i think the artwork looks ace and wouldnt look out of place on a cab at all

....  i'm not overly keen on the words 'the madness of mission six' because it doesnt sound like something u would find on an arcade cab (eg. usually on an arcade cab you would have one or two 'catchy' words instead.  DEFENDER.  DOUBLE DRAGON.  DONKEY KONG.  GALAXIAN.. etc).    if it were my cab i would probably just use 'MISSION SIX' instead of 'the madness of mission six'

just my opinion though.  everyone's different.  if you like 'the madness of mission six' then go for that.  :)

I definitely agree it's long for an arcade title but I was thinking I would make "the madness of" a really small font just above "Mission Six".
Kinda wanna keep the original title of the artwork.

I'm concerned I'm going to have to much dead space even with text.
Thinking of changing the background to black and adding a faded pacman maze behind the characters and text.
Alternatively I' thinking of adding some atari'ish swoops in the background like below...

I like the stripes, and I wouldn't cut off any of the image. Try to fit all of it in.

I agree with Yotsuya here. Since you are doing an arcade, maybe the title can be tweeked to give it a more "arcadey" :banghead: feeling...

Maybe something along the lines of "Mission 6 Madness!" or something... Short enough.
