Another boring conversation regarding wood or metal CPs.
Sorry, but I have Stargate that was converted to WWF. The CP needs bondo badly so I was looking at ArcadeShop (http://www.arcadeshop.com/parts.htm#Panels) and they have metal Williams 20th Anniversary CPs. But with thse metal panels I do not see where I can attach the hinge or the latches. The WWF CP had a thin metal panel that was to reinforce the control panels (for rough users I guess) which was screwed from underneath, so when stripping the CP I got more gouging from the screws.
SO what to do? I sure like the metal CP, but should I keep the wooden one and repair it to make the multi Williams? :dunno
