Title: Help identifying board.
Post by: evadave on April 11, 2016, 11:49:54 pm
I purchased a nice 2 player, 6 button, street fighter style upright machine online for a nice price.  It has a reset button too which reboots the system when I want to change games.

I am trying to identify the manufacturer or type of board it has.  I have typed the model number which displays when it boots.

I believe it maybe Jamma but I hit a dead end.

When the machine boots it displays 'ND-4000'  There are a few extra numbers printed on the board but searching these I come up with nothing.

Is there an expert here who maybe able to shead some light?

Cheers

Welcome aboard, evadave.   ;D

Based on your comment about changing games, it sounds like some flavor of X-in-1.
(60 games = 60-in-1, 3000 games = 3000-in-1, etc.)

If you're looking for more detailed info like a manual for your X-in-1, Google is your friend because the ROMs on the X-in-1 boards aren't licensed so Rule 5 (http://arcadecontrols.com/arcade_message_rules.html) can lead to posts like this.

[Vendorname redacted] sells that board.  The manual is on their site at [URL redacted].

most of those xxxx-in-1 boards are made by fly by night Chinese companies...here today, gone tomorrow. you aren't going to find much by way of support...warranty is usually "if it breaks in half, you can keep both halves."

if you have a hardware issue, we can probably help you out with some diagnosis...

but anything software related, no.

A picture of the board would go a long way....
