Title: Help with ZSNESW and mapping keys

I know this was a topic a ways back and I should have printed it, but the topic was that ZSNESW would not save the mapping keys configuration so that you cant get the gamepad working with the program.  Any suggestions again on getting ZSNESW to recognize the mapping of keys.  I am running Win98SE, if that matters.
