Hi everyone!
As the titel says, I'm wondering if it's possible to hide or minimize the "SwitchRes found matching resolution"-command prompt that pop ups when starting a game.
I'm using the latest GroovyMame with Mala and to make it a little less "computer:ish" I was hoping to get rid of the command prompt window somehow.
Anyone have any pro tip?

You mean the screen that shows the resolution?
If so, just set skip_gameinfo in the ini to 1 and disable_nagscreen_patch to 0.

No, no, no. That I know.
The command prompt window from SwitchRes that pop ups just right after you've picked a game in your front end. Maybe other front ends are always on top but Mala isn't?

Probably, because i'm not seeing that with hyperspin.

Try this and let me know if that helps.
Create a shortcut for the mame64.exe, go to properties of the shortcut, set "Run" to "Minimized".
Of course in mala point the program to the shortcut and not the exe.
There's probably a better way to achieve this, though.

In MaLa options, go to MAME Config, Basics tab. Make sure DOS Windows State is set to Hidden.
(This thread should probably be moved to the MaLa forum)

Sorry, didn't work. :-\

It worked! Thank you so much big10p!
You're right, maybe this could be moved to the Mala thread.
Problem solved! Thanks again
EDIT: Well it kinda worked. If I choose Hidden and can't control Mala after exiting Mame. If I choose Minimized, I'm able to control Mala so, Minimized it is!
