Hello Everyone,
I've been a long time lurker and part time contributor on these forums for quite a while now so It's time to go public with my project.
I've been all over the map with my design - from dreams of a monstrous 4-player 32" crt that wouldn't have even fit through the doorways of my house to a 1/2 scale cab for my kids, bartop, pedistal... you name it. Finally I've committed to a slim 2 player design that I'm pretty happy with and have the main shell complete but would like to get some feedback and inspiration for the cab art.
I'd like to keep it to a simple three color design, black, blue and white and so far have pulled heavily from Taito Space Dungeon - not because I particularly like the game, but because I really like its look and colours.

This logo is just the skeleton, no style applied yet.

So far I've only ran with the pixel look for the logo and fonts but may attempt to bring it onto the cp and side art.
Side Art:

As I mentioned - Heavily influenced by Taito Space Dungeon ;)
So - let the opinions fly, this has been WIP for over a year now and once I get the art printed, I can get the CP together and wired up and finally play some games!

I dig it.
Just one criticism - the center of the trackball being higher than the center of the joystick arrows kinda bugs me.

Thanks for the critique BadMouth - the trackball has no room to move under the hood, I'll see if it's possible to nudge the joys up to fix the alignment.
Alternatively I might try a chevron design under the outlines... Something to play with for sure.

Don't take this the wrong way, but shouldn't a Taito inspired build have more of a Taito-y profile?
-
It's more of a smooshed Taito I agree, due to it being a slim design. Not shown is the base, which helps add to the profile.
