Subject says it all. Based on specs I have found, NEC xm29 won't fit, but has anyone tried after die-casing one? Does anyone have measurements of a de-cased xm29? Thanks!

i d say : forget it .. a nec xm is filled up to the roof with electronics , nearly uncasable . the only cab related use may be to put it into a cab builded around the monitor . btw . : gutting such a beauty is a sin .

I've done repairs on these, total nightmare, it will never work to de-case. It is one of the best game console monitors ever though, just enjoy it on its own.

Thanks for all of the feedback. I'll forget the idea of finding one, decasing and trying to stuff it into a 25" cabinet.

i would consider a 25 inch tv as a replacement monitor . here in europe u can aquire plenty for nearly free , no matter if u need 15 k or vga capabilitys. in most cases u dont need a multi- tri - quadsync sync chassis .
