Title: Using 8 liner chassis w/ nintendo PCB

I know the NEC nintendo monitors can be set to inverted or non-inverted to work with standard or Nintendo output. I am looking to go the other way, using a standard monitor with the NES output. Can I just use the seperate inverter board from the NEC monitor to invert the signal? I assume that the sync and RGBs need to be inverted?
