*UPDATE Oct 30:* Now available for Android on Google Play Store: http://bit.ly/1Mnh1sz (http://bit.ly/1Mnh1sz)
In time for Halloween, I have just released a new strategic puzzle game called "TRICKY TREATS"
Gameplay consists of racing against a depleting magic bar to match 3, 4 or 5 icons. Matching 3 or 4 refills some of your magic. Matching 5 conjures up candy and matching the candy is the only way to get points.
Get it now for iPhone and iPad: http://apple.co/1PWGNKf (http://apple.co/1PWGNKf)
Please share, and rate 5 stars if you don't mind.
(A few bugs were found immediately following release and are being squashed right now!)

I liked your last game, but it was difficult for the colorblind to play it.
-
I like the art style... it reminds me of those 70's Halloween decorations.
-
Looks like fun, I need to show the wife.
-
Will DL tonight.

Cool. Will check it out :)

Only one review.... From jerk named JamesTX.... Cmon, BYOAC.
-
Update went live that took care of several bugs and added lots of missing polish.

What programming language or tools did you use to make it?

It's Flash packaged via Adobe AIR. That's why the frame rate isn't quite as fluid as it could be if you play on a cheap tablet like a Samsung Tab 3. Works fine on iPhone 4 and up though.

Well I don't know if this means anything to you, but I'm super impressed with it. Fair warning though... now that I know you have the skillz to pay da billz I might pester you with some questions this fall/winter. It's time for me to make some android apps. :)

Fun game but it feels finicky. If you touch in the wrong direction, you have to release and try again. My 8 year old seemed to like it but he'll play on the 5200. My 6 year old got fustrated and gave up after a few "missed" shifts.
The amount of time works well for gamers but I would suggest a ZEN mode for the non-gamers. My youngest isn't as intense a gamer as my 8yr old so she got frustrated when the time ran out as she's trying to figure out moves.
My 8yr old wanted to see how he faired against other players. He's real competitive like that. :dunno

Played perfect on my eye pad 2. Gave 5 stars and left a review. Fun to play!

All noted. I'll consider all this feedback when I make a proper new game with this play-mechanic. Different modes for different styles of playing is definitely a good idea.

My 8yr old said the game cheats. It took several rounds to figure out what he meant.
It appears that the tiles change to a different tile if 1/3 of the tile is showing as it wraps around. Happens only on the top and left edges. Doesn't affect gameplay unless you look at the tile as it wraps around and it throws your gameplay off or something. Not a big deal, but I would put it on the list of things to fix. It would add polish to the game.
Plus it would prevent 8yr olds from saying it cheats.

It doesn't cheat. It's a minor visual bug only. When the tile finishes wrapping around, it is the correct tile.

I didn't actually say the game cheats, just that the 8yr old says it does. That's why I had that whole middle paragraph there.
What I'm trying to say is fixing it would add a bit more polish to the game.

I do that a lot. Mis-reading.
Anyways, I'll definitely fix that in the Xmas edition.

Might as well say it. Is the main icon supposed to be that small? It's about 1/4 of the size of any other. I'm using a Samsung Note4 so I'm thinking there isn't a resource in that size. Should just scale it up though.... ???
