Title: Mortal Kombat II (MK2) Custom Bezel Insert (moves list)
Post by: drakedragoon on October 13, 2015, 06:46:48 am: Hello Mortal Kombat Super Fans!
I snagged some MK2 bezel graphics off of some random forum (maybe this one) and I thought "This looks pretty bad."
So I completely started over and here are the results.

Size: 25 x 25 inches
Fit: Original Dedicated MK2 Cabinet
Print: Heavy glossy paper

This fits well in an original MKII cabinet.
I used a couple pieces of double sided tape to adhere the top of it to the original plastic bezel so that I could slide the glass back into the cabinet without this custom insert sliding around.
I printed it on glossy paper because the matte paper was too dull.
It costed me $40 to print it at Kinko's, but only because I was too lazy to find a cheaper alternative.

I did have to cut the center out of this print. I do not recommend a razor blade to cut the center out because it leaves a noticeable white edge on the borders (cut line).
When I used scissors to cut this, it did not leave much of a white edge, but I had to carefully make a straight cut.

It is formatted well and provides a nice alternative.
Now people have choices! Woot!

The only other bezel inserts I remember were individual cards that needed to be individually placed in the bezel.
It's much nicer to have them all together like these.

I reworked your NBA Jam TE Bezel so that it would better fit my cabinet. I am not sure if you have a dedicated cab, but I thought I did. I left plenty of black background space so that it can be trimmed for a perfect fit.
*Please not that there are no version numbers in this bezel. Not all characters work in all versions.

I will be updating this next week to include some kind of key/legend (colored borders?) that define which characters can be used in each version (1.0, 2.0, or 3.0). I will also be adding additional cheat codes that aren't currently pictured, like: big heads, baby mode, fast hands, etc...

If you don't care about the revision, this current version still looks great!

Thanks! The only difference is the addition of Noob Saibot and he has no special moves or fatalities. A Jugg/Zeus version is not needed.
