Dont know how circular these really are (should get them in the mail tomorrow).
I guess i could use a forstner bit if they are pefectly round, but the exact depth would be tricky.
I have a router that would nail the depth but I'm a bit scared to freehand. Could I make some kind of template or jig?
Materials being hinged are plywood and laminate covered plywood.
How would you skin this cat?

Honestly, I'd use a forstner that is smaller than the hinges and then freehand the router to finish it out.

Set up a jig for them and use a router or forstner bit in a drill. If you have a jig set up you can get the placement of the holes perfectly accurate. There are existing systems out there for hinges such as this, though they are often somewhat expensive, so just create a jig for yourself.

Ended up doing it with forstner in the drill press.
