Hey Guys,
I bought a non working Rowe CD100a jukebox over a year ago and with the help from everyone on this board I got it working again. This jukebox gets a ton of use from family and friends and everyone really enjoys it. OK now to the problem.... A few weeks back random CD's started skipping/stop playing. I have no errors on any of the boards, so I think its the CD eye/Player going bad. I have cleaned the eye and this has not helped any and it seems to be getting worse. I think its a CDM3 player so what are my options?
Thanks,
Brian

Hello Brian,
Check out the Philips Decoder that is attached to the mechanism control for any dry joints to the three power rails transistors, other than this you would need to send the boards and laser to a Rowe Ami specalist.
The costs involved in upgrading would make the jukebox obsolete IMHO.

Ok, I will tear it apart later in the week and check. Do you recommend someone in the states for this type of repair?

i have a rowe cd100c and my issue is selects cd puts on player but just spins for about 45 seconds, then puts cd back in rack and repeats. never plays the cd. i have installed new battery and holder in CCC, cleaned eye on player. checked for errors (none). does this sound like i need a new player? or is there something else i am missing and should check? i have noticed the eye of the player does light up red.

Have you initalised the CD's?
