Title: HAWKcade
Post by: numbnutz48 on May 16, 2015, 04:13:16 pm
I finally pulled the trigger on a new cabinet. The old one was fun while it lasted, but was entirely too big and bulky. I ran across Taz's slimcade build and liked the design and lack of mass so a new build was born. I wanted to give it a "subtle" Seattle Seahawks theme with full sideart, CPO overlay and new marquee

Interesting to see where this goes.

Oh, and GO HAWKS!     (yes I know, the haters are coming)

Let the haters hate! It's all good...lol

This project is all but finished finally. (more pics to come)

It turned out great. I am very pleased with the result. I didn't go overboard with design of the artwork. SNAAAKE laid everything out nicely for me and Brad printed the project for me and did so at a great price. Much less than my local print shops!

Do you have a button on there that notifies Pete Carroll that he should run the ball?  >:D

We're both in Phoenix so we're just giving you a bad time, dude. You should try to work in a "Beast mode" button that does something awesome though. That would be cool.

Sadly, when it comes to adding anything beyond what I built (with the help of everyone on here) I'm hosed! I just today figured out how to change the background image for my frontend via a youtube tutorial. Even if I thought of something cool to make a "Beast Mode" button do, it's likely I wouldn't know where to connect it to!

I've had MAME for 6 years and thankfully nothing has gone wrong. I'm just now starting to test the waters of dabbling with the inner workings of these programs. Guess I can always come crawling back here begging for help! lol

GO HAWKS!!

Cool design! Looks like the evolution of a Xybots cabinet:

Please, for the love of god, get that confederate battle flag out of the same room as the Texas flag.

Horns can stay.

I'm not into the whole football themed arcade cabs but I like the layout and style of the cab itself
Very nice
