Title: Emulating a Sega Toshiba PTV Remote (CT-9908)?
Post by: the720k on April 22, 2015, 01:04:52 am
I know this is a longshot, but I figured I'd ask if anyone here might happen to have a CT-9908 remote for a Sega projection monitor, and if so, may be willing to create a LIRC config file out of it.  Here's my situation:  I have a Sega Top Skater cabinet and I'm planning on cleaning out/replacing the glycol in the blue and green tubes soon.  I'm also going to need to adjust the convergence and fine-tune everything, but this can't be done without a remote.  I found one on eBay the other day for way more than what I wanted to spend, and just discovered that it's been sold even if I did want to pay the price for it.

I found a thread on KLOV where someone had created a JP1 config and furnished a bunch of files for a certain JP1 remote so that people could make their own, but a lot of the files he linked to are gone now.  If someone here who has one could create a LIRC config for it so I could use it with my IR Blaster-enabled tablet, I'd be eternally grateful and even kick you a few bucks for your trouble.  Just really want to get my PTV back to as good quality picture as I can without spending $50-$100 on a remote.  Anyone?  Thanks in advance.

EDIT: In the event that someone has one and doesn't have the model number memorized, here's what it looks like:

I have tried every CT-XXXX LIRC config file out there on my IR Blaster, by the way, and while a few of them will bring up the adjustment menu, none of them have the necessary buttons programmed that this remote has.
