before you all start getting up my @$$, i searched on the board and all i found was that people have used it, that said....
I downloaded sodipodi becuase i heard it works fairly well with vectorizing pictures but i'll be damned if i can figure out how to use it
if anyone knows of a tutorial on the web for this program or has used it and is willing to give me a few tips that would be sweet
if this information helps:
amd athalonxp 2000+
256 ddr ram
win xp home
sodipodi .33 beta

No offense intended, but I think its pretty self expanitory.
Have you tried the sodipodi website ?
I would also recommend trying a program called "inkscape" its a recent fork of sodipodi with usability enhanccements (haven't tried it myself yet) and I have no knowledge of whether there is a Windows build available (I doubt it)
can you explain your problems? - what dont you know?
BTW - it functions similar to The Gimp (you have to use Right-Click context menus for many things) of course you can turn that off and give each doc a menubar and for all I know thats the default in the windows xp version - never seen it myself.

my problem is that i cant open any pictures with sodipodi, not even an svg which is it's native format, correct?
i open sodipodi, click sodipodi (where File should be), then click open select my picture and nothing happens
