Ok, I finally have time to get back to my project. I used MDF for my cab. I bondo'd the big imperfections and bought some rustoleum primer filler to spray the rest. I've given it a couple of spray coats and sanding, but I can still see some tiny cavities. I don't want to do a gloss finish with tiny imperfections. Are there any tutorials out there for giving a gloss finish for MDF?

Ond's 4-part "Ultra Gloss finish tutorial" series is here (http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php/topic,80229.msg1334817.html#msg1334817).

Poly glaze putty (from auto supply) mixes just like bondo but sands easier and is designed for pin holes... fill your small imperfections with this (level not a big goob) lightly sand whole thing and reprime, A gloss finish will require ultra flat and not sanded with anything coarser than 400grit -1000 or you will see the scratches through the gloss, Black is the worst color, due to its absence of color and will require a perfect surface.

So something like this?

Pricier than Bondo, but maybe I'll give it a shot. And of course I was planning on black. Maybe I'll have to rethink that. :-\
