Title: What type of screw is this?
Post by: MamedInCanada on June 07, 2014, 07:49:58 pm: I believe this is some kinda security screw. I've seen it on control panels also, this one was from the speaker cover. About 5/8" in length if I recall. I got some 3/4" Phillips cross slots from Rona / Home Depot but just don't like the look.

What's the proper name for it?
Where do you get them from?

Not sure the exact size that you need, but probably something around T15 or T20. :dunno

we use them on golden tee golf's >marquie's<

as a rule we break out the :pin: and just use a t15 or t20

Judging by your screen name there is no harbor freight near you. You could try Canadian Tire or Princess Auto if you have one in your area. I got my (cheap) set from PA.

I opted for the Costco set since it has more bits, and contains multiples of the standard Phillips, hex, star, etc...
