Title: Point me to an inexpensive LED joystick
Post by: Sarver Systems on April 07, 2014, 11:13:03 am
I'm building a cocktail cabinet, and I'm good to go on everything except for the 2 joysticks.

I know I want 2 joysticks, both with LED balls, preferably color changing LEDs. I can swap out LEDs if I need to.

They'll be mounted in a 3/4 wooden CP, and I need 8-way sticks.

Paradise has them, but at $50.50, that's out of my price range.

I'd also entertain the thought of taking a regular stick, and converting it to LED if the price was right.

That's about the going rate for LED joysticks.  :dunno

I was expecting to pay about half of that.

So I might just go with boring red ball tops then.

What length shaft should I go with for 3/4" panel?

See if ebarlow will rout out the bottoms of your control panel so that you can use regular sticks.
