Title: finally finishing my project(really 7 years?)
Post by: squire on March 31, 2014, 11:25:00 pm
i started my second mame project about 7 years ago. I  finished the cab, built the computer and just keep putting off the artwork. after moving the machine countless times it has ended up in my studio at work. i decided it was time to finally finish it! first off it needed to be upgraded i was still running a P4 and a 7800gtx...

Going through my spare parts  i decide to use a spare I3 3220. and a hd5870 it should run what i need it to for the time being. heres the mock up for the artwork as well. scratched my old idea and going with a new one! im going with the style of propaganda im still working on the side art but thinking about marching arcade machines, plane dropping  quarters along those lines. i do have a previous thread buts it outdated so im starting this new one. here a link just for reference.

i got ahold of a 25.5 tri sync monitor and should have that in a few weeks.but im stoked!
thanks again for looking! and im happy to be back.

I like it too, but make sure you give yourself enough of a "safe zone" on the print so the marquee retainer doesn't cover anything good.

Yeah, I like it as well.  Nice colour choices.

It would be cool if the hand was holding a quarter in a tight fist/grasp.
That wouldn't be too hard of an edit, just re-position the thumb, protrude the index finger out a bit and put a quarter wedged in there. :D
