Title: Crt life and keeping always on vs. on and off

Quick question, to keep an old crt tv in good working order, is there any advantage to keeping it always on (with black/blank screen saver) vs turning it on and off with every use?

TVs are not designed to on all the time.
  You will shorten its life by keeping it in all the time.
