Title: Rowe-AMI CD100 cleanup and light repair questions
Post by: 87bob on November 05, 2013, 04:49:42 pm
What is the best cleaner to remove all the second hand smoke on these old Jukes? The chrome (plastic) molding needs to be replaced as does the leatherette on the sides of the case. Where can I get these materials?

I've found 409 works great. As does simple green.

If the chromed plastic pieces are in good shape, but just need rechromed, you can them to a chrome shop and have them run through withtheir next batch. Or why not paint the chrome a nice color that matches/contrasts?

The leather pieces, I'm not sure about. You can get new material at Michael's, JoAnne's, or places like that.
