So I have pretty much zero woodcutting experience, unless you count high school wood shop (almost 20 years ago)..
I don't have access to or never will have access to anything more advanced than a hand held drill. I have no room to make a workshop, just a regular 2 car garage that is stuffed full.
Are there any places you can take wood to/ purchase wood from that will cut the wood? I know places like home depot will make a cut or two, but a whole project?
Now I can put the thing together myself, but I will never have any way of making large cuts. Really my only option is buying an old cab, right?
But what if I want to make a virtual pinball cab with 3 tvs (I never, ever thought of that before), which is super cool by the way, I don't want to basically throw away a pinball machine guts to do this!
What do people with zero woodworking skills do in situations like this?

You might consider a kit?

Expensive, but easiest for someone in your shoes.

For that, there's VirtuaPin (http://virtuapin.net/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=2)'s line of DIY cabinets.

I also have a virtual pinball kit that will have pricing soon. Check my post history, as I'm on my phone and don't have the link handy.

I am told there are wood shop groups you can join for a small fee. Kind of like a wood version of a hacker space. The shops a4e typically out of an individuals garage.
However, care should be taken when explaining what you own and whether your garage will be a "stop" on the membership circuit.I made the mistake of mentioning the "Orange Beast" despite A) not having run it since my kids have been born and B) I did not intend for my own garage to become a stop on their circuit. That group have not responded to my requests for membership or information.
Oh well :censored:-em. Not everyone can afford a SawStop.
But I digress, see if there is a local wood working group or a hackerspace in your area that will let you join and use their shop for a small fee.
Failing that, hit up Craigslist or Angie's List and see what comes back. I would not use places like Home Depot or Lowes despite what someone may tell you.

Don't make me ship you a free pinball cabinet!
;)
Seriously though, I've heard nothing but great things about xtremepinball.com. For proven workmanship, and a bunch of beautiful looking cabinets, they are the ones to beat.

I'm in Columbus, Ohio. I sure miss the days when US Amusements and Super Auctions used to do arcade auctions here! One is out of business and the other doesn't do Ohio anymore. :(. It's pretty difficult now to find a cabinet I want.
Back in the day, from the auctions, I had: a working VS SMB I picked up for $1.00 (not in good shape), a non-working Baby Pac-Man for $25.00, an empty Pole Position for I think $5.00 and maybe more! Good times! Unfortunatley, all of those cabs, as well as my empty dual monitor PC10 from ebay and my perfect condition 1 slot Neo Geo in a RoboCop cabinet from a local store that closed, were all lost in a move.
Now I have to start over. I currently have an empty DK cab and a Dragon's Lair II that was converted to a Tekken 2.

I will definitly consider that. I drove to Maryland to get the empty DK I have now. No room for a pinball right now, or really anything else at for a while... I am just checking the waters right now.
