After reading the recent article in retro gamer about Reisuke Ishida, the programmer of this game, I decided ti settle down to a good session of infinity gene on the ps3.
As someone on here has already noted, it's like space invaders and galaga combined, with a modern, tron-legacy like sound and feel.
Then I began thinking what a great cab this game would make. What a shame Taito don't make a few, all shiny and black, and put them out there, for 10p / 25cents a go. I'm sure they'd be popular.
Hmm. Might be an idea for a future project. Not sure where I'd stand on copyright, though !
