A little while ago, I created an Ibuki-themed CP layout for a fightstick:

Now I've started turning it into a fightstick.
CP cutout:

CP underside with laminate applied. I'm using Seimitsu buttons and as they are too thin for the CP thickness, I routed space so they will be able to be screwed in. Made a few gaffs routing it, but since it's hidden I'm not too concerned.

Plexi routed w/ joystick and button holes cut:

Printed art already cut/trimmed:

CP underside again; everything fits nicely.

The base pieces cut, but not assembled yet. I'm thinking of putting a few 24mm buttons along the front, but I'm still waiting on some parts in order to do that. Also debating whether to use white or black laminate...

CP top assembled with 3/4" T-molding attached. Note that since the plexi is slightly thicker than 1/16", there is a slight lip just above the T-molding (about 1/64"). I debated planing the MDF, but given it's not particularly noticable, I may just leave it:

Still to do:
1) Finish the base pieces, assemble and laminate.
2) Mount controller and wire everything up
3) Add LEDs at some point...

Very nice, although the JLF sits a bit too high for my taste.

Thanks emphatic. I've been playing around with layouts and this one seems comfortable. But after putting it through its paces, if I opt to change it, should be easy enought to redo! ;D

I was referring to the length of the shaft, not the overall layout. Just to be perfectly clear.
