Hi,
I'm currently designing my arcade \ jukebox and am stumped on how to be able to control the volume.
This will mainly be used for Arcade but a simple way to control the volume without ripping out a keyboard or mouse is ideal.
I am most likely to be running PC ---> AMP ---> Speakers.
What I would like is to have a volume knob that is easy to control the volume on the control panel. I do not want to have to control the volume by pushing buttons.
Are there any suggestions on a way of doing this? It will be running on Win7 64.
I haven't 100% decided on how to do the sound yet so any ideas would be appreciated.
Ideas I've been throwing around are:
2.1 stereo amplifier
external sound card
5.1 amp

I have a Logitech 5.1 in mine, only using the front and the sub tho. In my other cab, it has some kind of 2 channel amp. I use this to control the volume.
