Title: ZSNES Help.
Post by: DEIVIONCRX on March 18, 2013, 05:58:48 pm
I'm using MameWah and ZSNES for my Super Nintendo emulation, i cant get it to see my roms and generate a game list in MameWah for some reason.  My "roms" are .SMC file type.  Ive got Fusion Sega working with the .CMD roms and Nestopia working with .NES roms.  Is there some kinda issue with the .SMC?

Can you post the .ini file you're using for Zsnes?

Well i figured out ZSnes, i changed the List Generator to Rom Folder and its working fine, after some messing with the emulator to get it running fullscreen.

But now i cant seem to get the Z26 Atari to generate a list.  It was set to Auto on the List Generator also, but i changed it to Rom folder and it still wont work.

Set the list generator to rom_folder .
Also make sure you have the correct rom extension.

Here's my Atari.ini, i know its in the wrong folder, when i started i just threw in the folders that were already there because i didn't exactly know how to program it.  If that's the problem i can restart with a new folder that's the last thing I haven't tried.

I've also run across another issue with my Mame roms.  Roms that worked before no longer work.  When i first got the thing working Tempest worked great.  I haven't been able to get Tempest to work in a few weeks.  Last week i played Tron for like 30mins, yesterday i want to play Tron it wont work either.  Any ideas, i opened Mame32UI again and re-audited all games but nothing changed.

I'm also running a 2007 build of Mame32, along with a 2011 build of Mame32UI and i tried Tempest and Tron on both build neither works.

Every emulator has a different command line. You always need to find out what it is before adding it to mamewah. Here (http://forum.classicamiga.com/forum/showthread.php/1867-Using-WinUAE-with-MameWAH-a-How-To) is a brief tutorial on how to get WinUae running in mamewah.

Not sure what your problem is with mame? Are you sure you have set the correct rom folder in mame? It's clearly not anything to do with Mamewah since you seem to be having issues running the games outside of it. I would try running the latest version and redownloading the games that are giving you trouble.
