I have a thread in a wrong area and thought I'd post here instead. This is my 3rd attempt at connecting my IPAC2 to my PC. Right now all I have is the IPAC2 connected to a PS2 port with the Player 1 joystick controls connected into the IPAC2 along with the ground daisy-chained to 12 or so connections(damn connections keep pulling away and I have to re-crimp them, waste of $14 there) anyway I launch WinIPAC Version 1.0.16 and wiggle the controls and nothing lights up. I hit "Program IPAC" button and all it says is "FAILED! IPAC is not connected."
I had this same issue when I plugged in all my #1 joystick controls and buttons but the #3 button would work and nothing else. I would see that button light up in the IPAC software but I thought I should just start from scratch testing each input as I connected but I get NOTHING so far even though I get no errors on the card itself.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Rich

I DLed the latest version of software(v 2.0.8) and thought maybe that was the issue. But no same issue happening.
Verified
IPAC2 is selected
PS/2 is selected
Hit "Program" Button and it times out.

Rebooted :) Now I see it doing the Player 1 controls! Stupid PS2...more and likely I plugged it in after boot. Dumb for me.
