Title: Newest CRT TV to use ps1/2 Guncon

Anyone know the newest CRT TVs or monitors that support the Ps2/1 Guncons?  I have a old Sony 25 inch CRT TV that only has a single AV out and the games look pretty bad.  I know they are supposed to look old, but this TV is pushing it.  I'm not familiar with how CRT TVs increased in technology over the years, so I can't tell the difference from one to another to tell if they support the Guncon.

TVs that have S-video can be used as well, with an adapter. Component, not sure. Been looking into this too, just picked up the games & guns to make a Point Blank ps1-based cab.

Yea, that's basically what I'm doing.  Trying to get the best picture I possibly can with a ps2/1 light gun.  Component might work since they did make Ps2 component cables, but I don't know how the Guncon would go into it with the AV part.

Dreamcast Lightguns don't even have a yellow AV plug, so they might even work with component.  Although I haven't seen any CRT with a component in it.  Just S Video.

You may need to make a custom cable, but it's totally possible to get component picture to the TV and composite to the Guncon at the same time.

EDIT:  From a PS2 or PS3 I mean, maybe not from other consoles.  Dreamcast might work.

consider adding a dreamcast with a lightgun to your collection so u can play the dreamcast arcade perfect house of the dead 2, plus others like confidential mission...

I actually bought 2 Interact Starfire guns and they were so inaccurate, bulky, and were overall horrible that I just ended up ordering 2 mad catz light guns.  I even started a thread on it on the console section just to make sure it wasn't just me that the starfire guns were bad.
