Nice!  Extremely nice!  My eight month old just learned to hold on and stand on her own.  What better grip than a Ms. Pac joystick?  Oh this site is going to kill me!

That is awesome!!!!!!

Excellent work.  You've got me wanting to build one.  Who printed your artwork?

I printed the graphics at work.

You must have one hell of a printer.  Where could I get those printed and what questions should I ask the printer?  For example what kind of printer should they be using to print these and what sort of paper should they be printed on?  Sorry for so many questions but I've never gone this route before.

I used one of our Designjet HP5000 PS'es It is a 60", six color plotter. We normally use bond paper but I used a freebee roll of Photo Satin. I laminated the front with floor guard (gives it a laminate feel). Finally, I put adhesive on the back (comes on a roll, applied using a huge pressure roller).

Most Kinko's should be able to do this. Better yet, if you are in the bay area, use us! </shameless plug>

That is really sweet!
My 4 year old would love one of those!!  Then she wouldn't need to use a stool anymore.

Its a vinyl sticker (3M). [silkscreened]

We actually stock this material (3M vinyl stickyback). Along with UV inks, its hard to tell its an inkjet.

I would have used it on my PAC Cab but I didnt want to fork out $ (okay, I'm a cheepo).

:)

I will be using it on my Pole Position resto.

You mentioned you worked somewhere that did this. What kind of $'s are we talking about to do what you did with the minipac cab, except on a full size pac?  I got a rally x cab that would look sweet with new pac graphics on it(its the same style cab). The next question would be can you do something like that for someone not local, like ship it to me? Would I be better off going somewhere local? I would rather give you my business though if shipping was possible and reasonable.

I'd like to know about the cost of the artwork as well.  Thanks.

We charge $9.50 a square foot for printing. An additional 3.50 ea for lamination and adhesive back.

Comes to $17 a square foot.

A Pac Man style cabinet (fully covered by printing) is about 44 - 45 square feet.

There are many possibilities for the output. It doesnt ned to be laminated, backed, etc...

I have exhausted my employee discount for the time being. However, I just negotiated 20% off for any byoac member.

tbombaci:

I was wondering if you could tell me what kind of latches you used on your Hanaho ArcadePC to secure the cp and where you got them? ???

If anyone else has some suggestions regarding this subject, I would greatly appreciate it. :)

BTW: Your mini Pac Man looks great. I can only hope my sons show a similar interest in my Mame project (not finished yet) as your son.
