Title: Any reason to NOT run XP in my cab??
Post by: mkdevo on October 21, 2003, 06:59:38 am
hello all,

trying to decide which OS to run in my cab - Win98SE, or XP Pro.. i would *rather* run XP, but can anyone give me any reasons why i'd be better off with 98, or is XP ok??

btw - Athlon XP 1.1ghz/768mb DDR/120gb HD

thanks!

I don't think there is any reason to go with 98.  All that ram would go to waste if you ran 98.  Go with Xp.

I would probably sell off 512MB of you RAM, and with the profits, buy a faster CPU.   ;D

At this point there is absoluetly no reason as dual mice are supported in xp via analog+ xp.
