Hello, Ive always fancied building an arcade cab so this year I decided to see how that idea went.
This Is the first attempt and it's not completely finished, and if I were to do it again I would make some design changes but I'm quite happy with the outcome so far. I have been building on a budget so still haven't found the brains, I have been using my laptop until I do. Also the measurements I have worked to are slightly different to original cabinets, there are a few things and questions to finish and if anybody wants to throw any ideas at me or advice please do. Here are the pics of the progress.
Started with a template for the sides

There's quite a few things left like the marquee to get with some plastic beads, speakers to mount on up panel above screen, fix screen in place then I was going to get a piece of perspex and spray black around the screen view, also I have sourced a pc but am struggling to get it to work, also light for marquee but if there's any pointers for me please go ahead.

Maybe it is just the pictures, but to me it seems that you have to lean forward playing the game, since the base of the cabinet doesn’t allow you to put the feet were they should be in a natural position…?
Except from that you have made some good progress. And be proud of yourself not going the frankenpanel path that so many first timers do =)

Good point lol! Haven't noticed it to be a problem as yet but I suppose if it is, point noted.
Cheers
