Title: Difference between TV, PC Monitor and LED/LCD TV
Post by: wcndave on August 31, 2012, 07:42:19 am
The details on the forum seem to centre around CRT TV, arcade monitors and then computer LCDs.

I was looking at an LED TV, which has a VGA input.

Should i treat this exactly as a computer screen?
Are there any pros/cons to getting a 23" LED TV as opposed to a 23" LED Monitor?

I was looking at this one which i can get for about $175

an led tv is still an lcd display. it just uses led backlighting instead of cold cathode tubes so that they can be thinner.
