Title: Recommended LCD for Galaga Cabinet
Post by: csnow on July 29, 2012, 09:06:33 pm
I am looking for a bolt in replacement LCD for a multi-cade build in an old Galaga cabinet.  I searched but only saw threads on using Dell and other monitors.  I dont want to deal with custom mounting or de-casing.  I have seen several arcade LCD replacements on the big Bay.  Is there one vendor that is preferred over the others?Any feedback will be appreciated.

I installed one of the wells gardner lcd monitors before for a customer. I don't remember which model it was because the customer had ordered directly.
It was a direct drop in, mounting just like a regular crt arcade monitor and it wired up just like a regular arcade monitor too.

Do they make any 4:3 LCDs or are they all 16:10/16:9 widescreen?
