I just bought a nice Ms Pac upright with the ms pac/galaga/frogger board. I guess it's a bootleg/icade board. No original board came with it. fire button has been drilled for/added to the cp :-[. Got it cheap as a buy the pinball, gotta take the vid type deal. It's in seriously nice/HUO condition. as in not a scratch on it.
What's something like this worth if I post it up to sell?

Too bad you're not local to me. It'd probably be better than THIS (http://phoenix.craigslist.org/wvl/vgm/2961521593.html) one.

$1100 ---fudgesicle--- yeah. way better than that. way.
-
Well, what'd you pay for it?
-
hard to say, package deal. It was offered for $250 so call it $200. Oh, monitor doesn't work, plays blind. flyback hissing like a rabid cobra. Hopefully I can fix the monitor and pick up a few hunge on it to offset the pinball machine cost.

Should easily be able to double your money, possibly even triple it. Depends on who has cash to burn...
-
If it's got an i-cade, it's probably a 60 in 1 board.
-
per klov It is the classic combo which on boot shows an icade style game select screen (screenshots on a teal background) but it only shows 3 screens, ms pac, galaga, frogger in a triangular layout. Don't know if it is a different version, crippled, etc. haven't gotten it home to mess with yet. it was made in 2000 per klov and the cab looks it. What's better for resale, and original ms pac or a 60-1 in a ms pac cab? don't know if it can easily be converted because the harness is Jamma.
Note, it only has one button.

Depends on your buyer. A collector looking for a Ms. Pac would pass on this. Someone with small gameroom/bar area in their basement, looking for an arcade machine to throw in the mix would probably be happy to own one of these.

Could be a 48 in 1 or 60 in 1 with all the other games disabled. Done in the setup.

more info: as best i can tell it's a fairly new midway ms pac cabaret, vinyl sideart, that has had the jamma bootleg board put in and the harness very nicely redone to interface with that. When they did it they cut off or didn't connect the test switch, coin mechs, etc. though. I need to rig that back up to look at the options on the board. It is an icade type board but has a black plastic cover over all the chips.
The ROM version of ms pac has the midway logo taken off the start screen and has hearts instead of dots. I'm cogitating on what to do with it now, leaning towards fixing the monitor up (colors are off -no yellow - ordered a cap kit) and selling it on clean and adjusted but basically as is. More ambitious would be to add jpac, pc, Multipac marquee. I like the second option because I could put the beater pc I have in there and upgrade the one in my mame rig.
